Yesterday, I was pressuring myself into a cycle again. I was busy doing stuff, and I let my mind take over. I was bothered by big issues that I let become bigger. We are due to renew tenancy and the landlords want a price hike, kids are doing their exams to give them the required status in this physical world and I am trying to juggle the fallout in a supporting and nourishing way, that encourages them but does not bow to the pressures of societies values....and other stuff and practical issues were heaping onto the pile up....anyway it was getting complicated and I was thinking too much about everything....
Why am cycling back into this stuff when I had done the spiritual work to create a New Outcome? In meditation over the last few days, I had been working to cultivate my Sun (male, father, Yang, active/action aspect) to bring clarity and action to my Moon (female, mother, Yin aspect) and I had been cleaning my torus in order to create from fresh NEW energy, not old outworn and outdated energies. So yesterday I was thrown back into a bit of mess and used my mind to try to unravel it.
I kept thinking, "There is a higher solution. Bring on the higher solution, the solution I could NEVER THINK OF." I knew it was there, but I could not THINK of it. I was asking myself and getting bothered by not being able to REST. Where are these HIGHER solutions. Nothing came...for a while.
In the evening I sat outside in the garden for a while and I soon saw my Grandad sitting in the chair opposite. He was smiling, and chuckling a little. So I asked what was going on. Without using my mind to discern, I was shown the image of an ark. Noah's ark. Now, I am not very Biblical minded, and even though as Irish, I don't know how Religious he was, he died when I was really young and, living in London I didn't get to meet him often enough. But he was sunshine, a very sunny person, a chatty cheerful person and I was fond of him, I didn't know him well enough to love him, (but all is LOVE, at the end of the day when the mind is finished with its catogorising).
(A little aside here, during my recent inner work on trying to activate my sun action/yang energy, he came up for me as my SUN/male/father sun activation aspect that comes through on an ancestral line, as a substitute for my father, who unfortunately was only ever able to give me a shadow sun, with which to create and experience my life and which I am changing with love.)
Anyway, back to the ark. Noahs ark. Which came with a feeling of "DON'T WORRY."
I couldn't work out what this meant and my mind played with the idea of impending doom, big flood happening soon, Quick get in the ark ! But my grandad had been smiling and relaxed, not jumping around trying to warn me.
I relaxed a little and decided to tune out and watch some TV. I don't really watch mainstream stuff and managed to find a series on PREPPERS. Doomsday preppers. It was really interesting for various reasons, the thought floated by, that maybe I had got caught up in some kind of preppers energy myself, getting distraught and needing ANSWERS now so that I could get organised, and get stuff categorised, and yearned for a sense of completion. The energy abound the earth is so overwhelming that people have a need to DO something and they need to feel COMPLETION of some kind, that they have successfully concluded this emergency (energy) and....get back....to ...NORMAL.....
But it is NOT going back to normal. It is getting Worse or better depending on where you see it. The energies coming in and that we as the human species are contributing to, DEFY the mind and its habit to box up and catogorise...as the MIND (both conscious and subconscious aspects) races through its library of meanings and reactions and pulls out, either DOOMED....or Thank you we are SAVED.
So I relaxed.....I rested with image of 'the ark', that to me meant...saved.
A message that sinks in.
Also the message was to show me how :getting caught up in things that, now, are so huge in levels of multidimensionality, that when you try to deal only with the 3rd dimensional element of the issue, using only your mind, you can loose out to prepper panic.
This morning, I looked into metaphyisical meanings of the ARK and found even more depth to the answer. The ark is a sacred vessel that carries the sacred, divine spark, it isn't really a boat that got loaded up with animals, but where all things come together in spirit.
"and of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort" ("male and female," the positive and the negative activities of life in the organism); that is, one affirms Spirit as all in all, as primal essence.

The ark is the inner sanctum that aligns with the universal and divine principles to create the perfect 'housing' or vessel for the divine aspect of our God selves to reside.
The Ark is that which, living as the highest spiritual aspect you can be, raises you up above the floods of overwhelm that drives you to kill/or to die in subconscious derived creation of preppers panic.
Noah was saved from the 'flood' because he was not residing in, or creating from the lower consciousness. The story means that when the spiritual part of yourself is aligned, and the mind is rested there is salvation from the mind that creates the life experience....
" A mind at rest is the state of being which salvation is.The problem with the lower ego-driven mind is that it is not very conscious; this type of mind goes through life by reacting to situations instead of acting. The individual has little control, and even though he or she thinks they are making their own decisions, they are usually just acting from emotion and instinct. This is natural for the lower mind. But the story of Noah was written to teach us to live spiritually, not carnally (ego-driven)." http://www.spiritofthescripture.com/id315-noah-the-ark-and-higher-consciousness.html
Hope this helps.

below are articles that explain how the story of Adam and Eve and the story of Noah are actually explantions of the spiritual, mind and conscious, the characters used are only to bring 'life' to the meaning.

Metaphysical meaning of ark (mbd)
ark, ärk (Lat.)--a holy abode; a sanctuary; a tabernacle; any vessel for preservation; a sphere; a coffer; receptacle; depository; treasury; coffer; corporeity of light; body of light.
ark, ärk (Lat.)--a holy abode; a sanctuary; a tabernacle; any vessel for preservation; a sphere; a coffer; receptacle; depository; treasury; coffer; corporeity of light; body of light.
a Noah's ark (Gen. 6:14-16; 7:13). b The basket in which Moses was hidden (Exod. 2:3). c The Ark of the Covenant (Exod. 25:10-22).
Meta. Noah's ark symbolizes the spiritual part of oneself, built in the midst of the flood of error. One builds one's ark on the scientific understanding of the wisdom, presence, and power of God. The ark is built upon the affirmations of what one is in Spirit.
One takes into the ark one's wife, one's sons, and their wives (spiritual principles inhering in the soul), "and of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort" ("male and female," the positive and the negative activities of life in the organism); that is, one affirms Spirit as all in all, as primal essence.
The Ark of the Covenant, sacred ark, or ark of the testimony, represents the original spark of divinity in man's being It is a covenant, or agreement, of the Father with the son that He shall inherit all that the Father has. "All things whatsoever the Father hath are mine(John 16:15).
This original spiritual spark is a very sacred, holy thing, because upon its development depends man's immortality. It is represented as occupying the most holy place in the temple and as being protected and cared for with great devotion. All that man is has been brought forth from this central spark, yet the sense-conscious man often neglects it and ignores its very existence. The attention is taken up with the things of sense to the exclusion of Spirit.
In individual consciousness, when the ark of the covenant is removed from the heart center (city of Jerusalem) the spiritual forces are scattered. Because of lack of a substantial basis from which to operate, no definite spiritualunfoldment can take place. It was therefore necessary to establish this holy meeting place, as David (love) wellknew (II Sam. 6:1-19).
After David had fully learned that working with divine law always brings good, and that disobedience is the cause of destruction, he brought the Ark of the Covenant back to its proper place in Jerusalem. Its presence there insured to the Israelites a peace and a harmony and a spiritual progress that they had not known during the absence of the Ark.

Noah, the Ark, and Higher Consciousness
http://www.spiritofthescripture.com/id315-noah-the-ark-and-higher-consciousness.html
Many stories and literal structures in the Bible represent the human mind and brain. In an earlier post I showed how Ezekiel’s millennial temple, which can be found here, is exactly that. The story of Noah is also symbolic of the mind. Before delving into this, let’s briefly review the literal story:
At the time of Noah, the earth had become corrupted. God wanted to cleanse his creation, so he devised a plan to flood the earth and rid it of its wickedness. And why was man considered wicked? Genesis states that man was wicked because his thoughts and imaginations were evil (Gen 6:5). I have emphasized the word “thoughts” in the previous sentence because of its relevance to the esoteric rendering of this story, which we’ll address shortly. But first, it is important to know that one of the meanings for “man” in that same verse and many other verses of Genesis means “low.” The concept here is a low man, and the evil thoughts of the low man in the literal story represent the lower or animalistic nature of the mind. In Genesis 6:9, we learn that Noah is the exception. He is described as a “just man.” There is a different Hebrew word for man here, and one of the meanings is “high.” Noah was a “high man” that lived a spiritual life instead of an ego-driven one, and so Noah is representative of a higher state of consciousness. Noah’s name is also relevant to all of this. Noah means “rest.” This is perhaps the most significant of all, for Noah represents not only the higher nature of the mind, but also a mind at “rest.” A mind at rest is the state of being which salvation is.
The problem with the lower ego-driven mind is that it is not very conscious; this type of mind goes through life by reacting to situations instead of acting. The individual has little control, and even though he or she thinks they are making their own decisions, they are usually just acting from emotion and instinct. This is natural for the lower mind. But the story of Noah was written to teach us to live spiritually, not carnally (ego-driven).
In the literal story the water is purifying the earth by killing all evil thoughts and imaginations of man. These thoughts and imaginations are the lower mind. Noah, who represents the mind at rest, rises ABOVE the evil “thoughts” below the ark because the flood is a type of baptism in which the lower mind is cleansed. This state of being brings salvation not only to himself, but to his family as well.
Similarly, those in Jesus / WORD/ Christ are saved when they develop Christ consciousness, which represents a state of being. It is a consciousness transformation.
My article on Adam and Eve and how that story relates to consciousness may shed more light on this subject for you. It can be found here.
So what do you think? Can you now see how the story of Noah and the ark is another Biblical example of the mind?
Adam and Eve: The Story of Human Consciousness
For well over a thousand years, mainstream Christianity has taught that the creation of Adam and Eve and their subsequent expulsion from the Garden of Eden is literal history. While I will say it is a fantastic picture of how man came to this earth, I will also say that this story was never meant to be literal. In fact, to teach it in this way greatly diminishes the spiritual truth the author originally intended. But when this story is understood correctly, it unlocks the key to helping us live a full, abundant life, which is the way life was intended to be!
Getting right to the point, the story of Adam and Eve is about the human mind. More specifically, it is about a mind that has become fractured and is therefore no longer whole. Before explaining this, I want you to make a mental note of something which will become relevant at the end of this discussion. Jesus was crucified at Golgotha, which means “place of the skull”. In an esoteric sense, this is about the mind, and the battle is between the ears! Liberation and salvation come when we crucify the ego (through the waking conscious) and heal the mind.
In the literal story, God placed Adam in the Garden. In the beginning, Adam was alone; Eve had not been separated from him. Adam was therefore whole. This is representative of the conscious and subconscious working in perfect unity and harmony, which is also reflected by the paradise (Garden of Eden) in which Adam dwelled. In this state of unity consciousness, Adam was ONE with God. As the story continues, we learn that God placed Adam in a deep sleep (the realm of forgetfulness and consciousness fracture) and Eve was created. In this new state of being, Adam represents the waking conscious of mankind and Eve represents the subconscious. When the conscious and subconscious are no longer in unity, the state of Paradise (inner joy and peace) can no longer be maintained because the ego will take control. Thus the fall! And of course the literal story presents us with this in the form of expulsion from the Garden. As the story goes, Eve is tempted by the serpent or Satan (ego), and because the ego took over the driver’s seat of man’s soul, Paradise lost becomes man’s reality. This is also spiritual death. And spiritual death = separation from God.
As we stated earlier, Adam represents man’s waking conscious and ego, and Eve represents the subconscious. Ordinary consciousness is represented by the male aspect (Adam) because consciousness has the power to impregnate the subconscious (Eve) to produce the physical reality we experience. The subconscious, or female aspect (Eve), is the power of birthing and creating on the physical plane. This is where the concept of “Mother Earth” comes from. It has nothing to do with a literal female deity in its original understanding. It is only an explanation of consciousness, just like the story of Adam and Eve. Remember, Eve is the “mother of all living”. In other words, our subconscious is the mother that births our reality. This is also why the Bible states that man will RULE over the woman after the expulsion from the Garden. This is not to be taken literally. As it now stands, your conscious self rules over the subconscious. In other words, your conscious thought (male aspect) impregnates the subconscious (female aspect) with the seed of your waking consciousness. If your conscious self dwells on negativity, your subconscious, which is the real birthing/creation powerhouse, will produce that effect for you. And negativity becomes your reality! Remember, the battle is between the ears! It’s all about the mind.
To be whole again, we need to be renew our minds in Christ consciousness, like the Apostle Paul tells us. This is the born again experience. As Paul states in Galatians, “…and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me…” (Gal. 2:20).
So how was this accomplished in Paul? Notice how he stated, “…it is no longer I who lives…” What is the I Paul is referring to? It was his waking conscious and ego.
The ego wants to stay alive. That’s its job. The ego fears its own dissolution. In fact, ALL fear is rooted in ego.
As stated many places elsewhere on this blog, meditation helps to dissolve the ego, and, over time, the conscious and the subconscious began to work in unity. This is what Christ consciousness is. Some call it the “super consciousness”. The name doesn’t matter. It’s the outcome that matters.
Now that we have discussed the true understanding of the Adam and Eve story, I feel it is important state that man was never meant to RULE over or to dominate a woman. That’s just pure ego! But when the story of Adam and Eve is taken literally, people are taught that this is God’s will. Nothing could be farther from the truth. We must be careful to interpret the Bible correctly or the world becomes dysfunctional. To interpret Bible stories such as Adam and Eve literally creates religion. This is what Jesus was trying to combat.
For those of you who may be struggling with my take on the whether or not the scriptures are literal, I completely understand. I was taught since I was a little boy that the Bible was the inerrant word of God. I used to read up on the latest creation science news to prove to others that man was created six thousand years ago and placed in a literal Garden of Eden. It was as if I had to PROVE the Bible because deep down inside I knew there was something missing from the big picture, and if I could prove the Bible was inerrant to my own self, I could cover up the missing component. So proving the Bible to be the inerrant word of God was sort of my mission. But through that mission I realized that is was nothing more than a big ego trip, and I was only fooling myself. Now I don’t have to struggle with questions like where Cain got his wife in the land of Nod unless it was his sister—yuck! That’s not what the scripture is about. The scripture is about spirit, not history. If we all realized this, wars would stop. People could live in peace. I also truly believe people would then be able to see the unity that truly runs like a current beneath all the major world religions.
I hope this article has helped you see the true spirit of the scripture where Adam and Eve are concerned. If so, and you think this could help someone else, spread the love with social media!
