“... who we become on the other side of trying.”

“... who we become on the other side of trying.”

This phrase jumped out at me, the email was from https://yesandyes.org/
and what was being said was preety ok. (See below).
But This phrase actually spoke something else to me. What I 'heard' was 'TRYING' is to be what you are not, which is an unnatural state and takes A WHOLE LOAD of your own personal energy to 'hold' what you are not... in place, in order to fit into something.

I have set aside time for three or four big releases, which begin with reading the Master Key System and The Biggest Secret and which I act to undertake a BIG DECLUTTERING in both my mindest and physical setting... I started a while ago with the BIG DECLUTTERRING internally and have for the last three years been decluttering papers books and objects from my parenst home. And from time to time been doing a physical decluttering in my home. What I learned and finally saw for myself yesterday, after a massive (for me) clear out of family clutter.. was the immensity and intensity of energy that I streamed into my family for all these years ....and eventually I saw that If I could it for them so intensly for so long...then it is now time to Put all that energy source and stream into me...
.
I have been doing my tarot and now claim for myself 10 day hermitage in which to create for myself, a key into opening the door for "self sustainabilty and sovereignity".
Not sure but I am getting that the Quetzal is a spirit guide form for me, for a while, and it is a beautiful and unique bird. I am guessing that it is about being your beautiful self regardless of what is happening around you.  Michaela.

From Yes and Yes.
But I think it’s just as - if not more! - important to think about who we become on the other side of trying to change how we think about earning, spending, value.

Regardless of the numbers-based outcome, who would you be on the other side of trying:
  • Telling your co-workers, actually you’d prefer not to split the bill six ways. They all had steak and cocktails, you had soup.
  • Calling your best friend for a pep talk, rather than wandering the aisles of Target and shopping because you’re sad.
  • Sending a third follow up email to a potential client.
  • Fixing that leaking faucet yourself (and with Youtube videos).
  • Promoting yourself and your work, even when it’s scary and uncomfortable.
  • Developing non-shopping based methods to self-sooth.

Even if we don’t succeed 100% of the time, who are we after we’ve had the guts to try something new, break old patterns, challenge old habits - is a better version of ourselves.
