goldfinch on the wire. A drop of gold on a gloomy day

today been in pain.
pulled something my back yesterday morning, and it hurt. finally i took a powerful pain killer in the afternoon and took it easy for the rest of the day. this morning it still hurts and everytime I move my back, neck shoulders or arms I eel pain. It is like, but not as bad as, epidodes of fibromyalgia pain i had randomly in the past.
 feeling sorry for myslef i have been lying on my side in bed all afternoon. I noticed against the slate grey sky brooding with thunger and lihtening a little buzz of bright coloured feathers as a bird came to reest on the telephone wire outside my bedroom window. The bird stayed at the exact angle to stare in at me for around 5 or so minutes. then it flew off, it came back into view and then dissappeared over the roof of the house opposite. I am typing this at an odd angle lying more on my front and typig to my side. Not able or bothered to try correct this text. the gold finch broughta splash of soemthing special to a dreary sad day.
