like an airbag in a car
he unfolds with power
tearing your heart
as he steps over you.
A poem.
Boy.
Licking at life's big ice cream
Scrambling over rocks that
cannot be seen
Small boy's laughs and shouts
ride on the wind,
As he.......
Races through life.
Gulping in breath.
Rushing and gushing,
Pulling and splashing.
Tugging and tearing,
Kicking and pushing.
Long lashes lie on
sunkissed cheeks.
Mother's sigh as
small boy sleeps.
Then.....
From vast and deep,
Inner chasms erupt,
and boy explodes into man.
