Jade.

Recently I found two jade bracelets. One I have been wearing is yellow jade and the other was described as Nephrite Jade.
I looked into Yellow Jade a while ago and found it was good to wear as support when in challenging situations.
Nephrite jade is just as beautiful and Jade stone meaning in Feng Shui is wood energy. Jade stone benefits in Feng Shui support health, growth, expansion, nourishment and new beginnings. New vitality is one of the many jade stone benefits that results in improved physical growth and abundance.

During Neolithic times, the key known sources of nephrite jade in China for utilitarian and ceremonial jade items were the now depleted deposits in the Ningshao area in the Yangtze River Delta (Liangzhu culture 3400–2250 BC) and in an area of the Liaoning province and Inner Mongolia (Hongshan culture 4700–2200 BC). Dushan Jade was being mined as early as 6000 BC. In the Yin Ruins of the Shang Dynasty (1600 to 1050 BC) in Anyang, Dushan Jade ornaments were unearthed in the tomb of the Shang kings. Jade was used to create many utilitarian and ceremonial objects, from indoor decorative items to jade burial suits. Jade was considered the “imperial gem“.
Nephrite and jadeite
Nephrite and jadeite were used from prehistoric periods for hard stone carving. Jadeite has about the same hardness as quartz, while nephrite is somewhat softer. Jadeite measures between 6.0 and 7.0 Mohs hardness, and nephrite between 6.0 and 6.5, so it can be worked with quartz or garnet sand, and polished with bamboo or even ground jade. Yellow jade is a Nephrite mineral.
Chinese History of Yellow Jade
Jade, pronounced “yu” in Chinese, means “the most beautiful stone.” It was a royal gem in the early dynasties of Ancient China. It was part of cultural, religious and commercial use. Although not as prestigious in the West, jade was held in high regard over other precious metals such as gold and silver. The Chinese had a proverb that said: “gold is estimable, jade is priceless.” Chinese dignitaries were buried in ceremonial suits made of pieces of jade. Nephrite jade was most popular during the Ming Dynasty for making jewelry and figures for Ming tombs.
Confucius believed it had properties encouraging purity, bravery, and honesty. Chinese emperors were buried in suits made of the stone because they believed it would make them live on forever.
