Tomorrow's Class
Hello Everyone!
I'm sending a message to all in this group to say welcome, thank you for joining, and to give you an idea of what we will be working with at class tomorrow.
This week reach Imbolc - the beginning of spring in the Celtic/Pagan calendar. While it may be very cold, the beginnings of new life are all around us, and within us, even if many are happening beneath the surface. The sky is brightening and it is a time of hope, renewal and welcoming in the new.
So for our class this week we are going to do some work to really support you at this time. We will be focusing on an amazing sequence of yogic exercises for the lymphatic system.
The lymphatic system is one of our majority detoxification systems in the body which continually carries toxins and metabolic waste out of the body. Having a well-functioning lymph system is so important to our wellbeing – including helping to prevent cancers and particularly of breast cancer.
As well as working with the physical body and the lymph, we are very much be working with on the energetic level, clearing the channels and generating and strengthening the flow of life force through the system, and releasing any heaviness that we are ready to let go of, making space for the new season of growth and experience.
We are also working with the emotions, the mind, and connecting with the soul/spirit.
If you are a practitioner of Kundalini Yoga you will likely have a feeling for what I am talking about - and if you are new, the best way to understand what this means is to experience it!
Thank you again for being part of this group. If you haven't been able to make it to the class yet I hope very much to meet you soon!
Next class is tomorrow at 10am, Space 88, Marylebone.
With love,
Laurence
PS There will be no class on the following wee (8th Feb) as I will be attending a funeral. Classes will continue weekly from 15th onwards.
