I don't know why, but the flu shots are being presented again, fiercely recommended, as if being in the desert heat for months in most countries, and fires sweeping through certain areas is NOT enough to deal with, for most of us mere mortals, the winter flu shots are being touted in a way that suggests a safety line, and a grammatical full stop, (.) period point" to all that has gone on this summer. The relief being offered is "at least, //and even though this summer's madness has not even ended,\\ we've got you covered with a flu shot. " Recently, I was listing some travel shots at my GP's travel clinic for a holiday later in September, and there was a long list of vaccines I have not taken. Aghast, the nurse asked me If I had not any vaccines before...(I'd had travel shots many years ago, at least 40 years, but they were not even showing up)......Showing on the screen however was the long list of flu shots offered to me countless times over the years, and none were taken. The nurse at the GP travel clinic looked quizzical and asked again " NO vaccines ever?" The silent implication showed my 'refusal of the covid shots' ONLY by NOT having them recorded, and dated, ever. And No flu shots. (Well just one many years ago when I got as """sick as a dog -with a bad flu after"". This is a few years after they first came out, and were becoming available to everybody, not just for the elderly. I fell in with the line-- that carers need to stay strong, and NOT get sick, to be able to carry out their duties of caring for their old folk. So, Big bloody mistake that was, and never again. But all around me are friends and family and the general public ( and most are healthy strapping people) frightened of the flu....getting their shots in the arm, for protection from the evils of winter. NB, do you remember that Flu itself did not exist, No death from FLU recorded, when Covid was about...We have years of data and statistics of FLU related deaths, before and probably after covid, but no deaths from flu made the statistics..... SO, Flu as an entity of death did not exist, only symptoms of covid as there was no such thing as flu in that time...Death was only: "they died of covid" Do you remember ? are we seeing how it stats are massaged and highlighted to bring forward some things and pushback and negate other things, in statistics used to deliver implementations to the pulic ||||| So, anyway, I am probably on a data base of 'vaccine refusers' somewhere. |||| The other thing was my mother, an old old girl. She had maintained a strength of spirit for many years with MS, and since giving up work, but her mobility declined and i looked after her. She was bed- bound for a number of years, and cared for with love and in great conditions. In her 80's, She was immobile due to Old age and her body just gave up wrestling with the MS, which again was very unusual for someone to live so long with a diagnosis of MS, BUT she had a strong heart which kept her going. Now as the conditions relapsed I eventually had to give up her care, through exhaustion, and so she acquiesced and chose a nice religious themed nursing home, miles away in another part of London, to go and die. After four months, and she was NOT dying, No sign of it...she was still well and truly alive and could have years left in her....we made arrangements for her to go to live in Ireland instead, in what was the family home, but now my sisters business, and she lived well there, with love and attention for another year. One night her breathing was faltering a bit, and panicked, the doctor was called for...never having seen someone so old and frail but still strongly alive, he panicked and called for an ambulance and so she went into hospital. This was in the times of covid, so no one could travel with her to go the hospital in the ambulance. She had been given the flu shot a few days before....and then at the hospital as a precaution she was given a covid shot. She died that night alone. My only comfort is that she was a nurse all her working life and religiously believed in the truth and power of doctors and the medical profession, and so would have presented a stoicism about the whole ordeal. The sadness for me is her Fear, as she was left alone with breathing difficulties, that were not dealt with that night, as the covid shot was deemed first priority. The combo of flu and covid shots on an already frail person would have killed her, if her natural death was not already booked for that time. I mean to say---- if death wasn't ready for her----, the shots more than likely would have taken care of it.... Michaela.

Flu almost never starts spreading before mid November or December, and the shots only work for several months (when they work) and they achieve maximum effect 2-4 weeks after receipt. So the best time to get one (if you really must) would be around Nov 1. CDC lets us know this, sort of, though the agency recommends vaccinations as early as July and even up until April 1 (when the flu season will have ended before the shot kicks in). For elders, who have weaker immune systems that often fail to respond to flu shots or respond poorly, CDC admits that vaccinations during July and August should be avoided, because any protection the shots confer is likely to have worn off before flu season starts—though they don’t actually tell you the reason for this recommendation. https://www.cdc.gov/flu/hcp/vax-summary/acip-recommendations.html There are many different types of flu shots. The federal agencies don’t like to talk about this much. They won’t explain that flu shots are a mechanism for testing new vaccine platforms, which may be needed in the future (of course!) to save us from future deadly pandemics or biowarfare. This is why FDA and CDC have not selected the best vaccine platforms for purchase for Medicare, Medicaid and Vaccines for Children programs (paid for by taxpayers), but instead buy a variety of shots made using a variety of methods, and do not seek out the lowest cost vaccines. Here is a list of vaccines that CDC has purchased for the programs I just mentioned, but it omits the newly approved mRNA flu shots that will be in pharmacies within days: The Fluzone shots for elders and the Fluad shots for elders are more dangerous than the others. Fluzone contains 4 times the regular dose of antigens. Fluad contains the novel, squalene-containing adjuvant MF59, designed to nonspecifically rev up the immune system and cause extra inflammation. They cost more, too. But since Obamacare’s rules came into being, you don’t see this cost, as your insurance plan must pay 100% of it. Flucelvax (“cell-based”) is made in recombinant dog kidney cells. The factory in Holly Springs, SC built to use this method had numerous problems and was sold by Novartis at a massive loss to taxpayers. I don’t know whether the shots are problematic, but I would avoid them.
