Thinking about energy in the home and tweaking the flow, play with feng shui. "... a simple way to improve the flow of energy in your life is to make sure that all the doors in your home can open fully and are not obstructed by clutter or items of furniture."

5 feng shui tips for the doors in your home

Most people don’t think twice about doors. They use them to enter or exit buildings and rooms and close them when they want some privacy, quiet or security. But there is much more to doors than this.

Make sure all your doors can fully open

The external doors of a home, and especially the main front door, are the portals where energies as well as people enter a space. And internal doors affect the way that energies as well as people move from room to room. A good analogy is that corridors can be seen as the arteries of a home and doors are the valves that regulate the flow.
So a simple way to improve the flow of energy in your life is to make sure that all the doors in your home can open fully and are not obstructed by clutter or items of furniture.
Does this mean that it’s best to have all the doors in your home open all the time? No. The art is to get the right balance. Having too many open doors causes energy to move through too quickly, resulting in missed opportunities in life. Conversely, too little movement, such as rooms where the door is never or rarely opened, can cause stagnation that will be reflected in your life in some kind of stuckness.

Fix any doors that are difficult to open or close

Locks that need to be jiggled and doors that need to have force applied or special techniques used to open or close them results in corresponding frustrations in your life, and the more often you use the door, the greater the effect. The most important door to get right is your front door, so that entering and exiting is a frictionless experience.

Find somewhere else to hang your clothing

Coats, jackets, bathrobes, and other types of clothing can often be found hanging on door hooks, especially in bathrooms, bedrooms, hall closets, and so on.  These days you can even buy trendy over-door hangers that allow you to stash even more garments in this way.
If the door is never opened, or rarely opened, and it is being used as a wooden fixture to hang things from rather than for its original purpose, that’s fine. The problems start when it’s a door that is regularly in use. This is because the hanger may prevent the door from fully opening, and also the clothing adds weight, which translates into your life as requiring extra effort for whatever you do.

Don’t hang what doesn’t need to be hung

Do you use your doors as a handy place to keep things you may want to use — aprons hanging on doors hooks in your kitchen or pantry, bags hanging on door hooks in other areas of your home, and so on? Remember that just because something CAN hang, it doesn’t mean to say that it has to. It makes a room look unnecessarily cluttered. Aprons and bags can be folded and stored in cupboards, and they are just as easy to access as they would be hanging on a hook.

Remove decorative items dangling from door handles

These types of items are perceived as beautifying a door in some way. But every time you open or close the door, it swings about and you have to manoeuvre around it. Energetically this translates into unnecessary complications in your life or self-sabotaging tendencies.
Depressed people tend to have many objects in their home that hang downwards rather than point upwards, which reflects how they feel inside, and door handle danglers is one of the tell-tale signs I always look for. This doesn’t mean that everyone who does this is depressed but it does usually indicate some kind of self-defeating mechanism.
Any suggestion to remove these items is usually met with resistance at first (‘Oh, but it looks so cute!’). But after a while you will discover how much easier it is to open and close your doors without them getting in the way and how much more smoothly your life proceeds too.

11th house shenanigans. Looking at the House ruled by Aquarius as we move further into the Age of Aquarius. "The "Good Spirit" of this House comes from breaking free of restrictions, like society's conventions or fear of judgment. The airy spaciousness allows for big dreams to waft in and be considered, even the ones that seem impossible. The Eleventh is also known as the House of Divinity. That hints at the kind of compassion that's possible when you can step back and get the big picture view of humanity. The Eleventh House is a peak moment kinda place, with expansive, airy views. It follows the striving of the career-minded Tenth House (Capricorn), and that's why the atmosphere is one of, "You've arrived!"

Eleventh House: (House of Aquarius and Uranus)

The house of friendships, networks and the collective currents. Planets here show what kinds of alliances you create based on shared hopes, dreams and visions for the future.
Look across the wheel to the Fifth House, in which special talents and personality are in the spotlight. In the Eleventh House, that shiny presence with those particular gifts is shared with the wider world.

The Eleventh House is where you make your debut into society, and the reception you get out there. It's the traditional house of friends, but also extends out to colleagues and social circles. This is the house of Aquarius and Uranus/Saturn.
This House reveals your own way of being a joiner, with a defining factor being the Zodiac sign that sets the mood. The Eleventh is also to do with perceptual climates, and whether you fit in, or you break from the norm you're brought up in.

Finding Your Peeps

Some with a strong Eleventh House focus may end up in a wholly different kind of tribe. This is where you can feel like an outsider, alien to a culture, even the one you've known all your life. Others will make waves in the traditions in which they were raised, and be just as provocative to those around them.
This is where you join the bigger conversation — out there. The frame widens, and you want to be part of that timeless stream of pondering humanity's progress or predicament.
Think of all the ways people combine to create a more potent force. Sometimes it's uniting for a cause, but other times, it could be a coming together to defend the status quo.
The traditional ruler for this House is Saturn, showing how an idea held by many can be stabilizing. Astrologer Stephen Arroyo writes of the Eleventh House as one of seeking "intellectual security."
This is the House where collaboration, shared visions and community find expression, and then form.

House of Good Spirit

The classical astrologers of Greece saw in this House an elevated sphere, which is a kind of viewing deck for aspirations. The detachment of air and Aquarius is here, for seeing beyond the known.
The "Good Spirit" of this House comes from breaking free of restrictions, like society's conventions or fear of judgment.
It follows the striving of the career-minded Tenth House, and that's why the atmosphere is one of, "You've arrived!"

Show Time

Still, the Eleventh House is tricky to define and carries the same contradictions as Aquarius. It's both where individual aspirations take flight, and where we feel most profoundly, the power of a group.
Look across the wheel to the Fifth House, in which special talents and personality are in the spotlight. In the Eleventh House, that shiny presence with those particular gifts is shared with the wider world.
The response, as well as the ripple effect of your performance on the world stage, is very Eleventh House. Challenges in this House can have to do with sharing your unique fabulousness, with the right people.

Mind Melding

The Eleventh House is where your mindset and goals merge with that of others. Your personal goals are hitched to the power of a group, and you rise and fall together.
Likewise, the rest of the collaborative team gets juice from you and your talents and energy. The Zodiac signs and planets in this house show what kinds of kinship you seek. These may be clubs, loose networks of friends or professional associations.
By aligning with like minds, you become part of an entity — the group — that has a life of its own.
The Internet is an Eleventh House tool that keeps you in touch, and able to see what's moving in the current of ideas. This House shows how you manifest through thought and the group visioning process.
All kinds of activities are included here, where everyone is contributing effort to a goal. It may be a hobby club, political action group, theatre ensemble, writer's union, knitting circle — anywhere that you're part of an entity with a shared goal.

Staying Conscious in the Face of Adversity | A Special Message From Eckh...

What is Really Going on in the World Right Now? | The Jay Campbell Podca...

Playing with The Space within Time> I have just had a 5 day loss. I woke up thinking it was 26th March, checked to see it was 1st April...So does it mean something?

Vilhelm Hammershøi, Interior, Strandgade 30, 1908
I Think maybe we had a timeline shift that removed something from the last five days and did a re-set back to 26th March. So what has been happening under cover for the last 5 days that was in potential to bring about something?

I think it means that we are having different structure in the day, a different sense of time and a different sense of  who we are and slowing down enough to figure out what we want to do.

We have just been moved off the 'clocking-in clock'.
And time is opening up to reveal to us the space inside it. Nothing should be the same again, once we welcome a new concept of time as a nest for us grow and thrive in ways we couldn't before, when we were tied to a clock.

We are moving steadily out of the old programming and arriving in someplace softer, which we can mould like a soft clay into forms that feel either safe for us...or that open doors inside your head to venture forward. Use this inner 'door opening' to draw up maps of places and times, and spaces in which you feel drawn to have an adventure.

Other than meditation and the travel that comes with it, examples of other places to travel and explore are the art of fen shui and the art of painting and reading paintings. This is about getting lost in the 'concept' or delving into some practical experience, this is called playing with the energy. Michaela.

Don't Just watch TV, ticking off the minutes, being in lock down to someone else's agenda, find yourself in these moments..Michaela "The potential of discipline Do you remember being read to or reading to your children that wonderful tale by Dr Seuss, Oh, The Places You’ll Go? In fact, this story is a philosophical parable that’s worth revisiting, especially when you’ve lost your way. Don’t let its whimsical tone belie its profundity. At its heart it reminds you that life is for living, so don’t abandon yourself to merely existing. “Congratulations! Today is your day. You’re off to Great Places! You’re off and away! You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You’re on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the guy who’ll decide where to go.” Throughout the story, the author explains that you will meet those who are just “waiting” for life to happen and as a result they let life pass them by. He also warns there will be pitfalls, scary moments and people who will seek to derail you. He even talks about loneliness: “… alone will be something you’ll be quite a lot …” But don’t get deterred, because success and adventure awaits."MARIE ROWLAND ,JULY 29, 2019

Oh the places you'll go' by Dr Seuss - Andrea Calodolce

We can find Ways to redefine a structure in the day that is more meaningful.
Take what it is that you have, your own resources and make something out of it, use a smoothing of discipline to make things happen in your day. Play with what you have that is around you and develop creativity and imagination. Participate in your skills and attributes, find your qualities that previously maybe been used only in a restrained contained manner of your work or your job...and find new outlets for them.

My thoughts are that today is the day that you create a new you, by exploring all those thoughts, feelings, ideas, and writing them down...this is a way of bringing to life all those parts of you that had no chance of self expression. We create a new life for ourselves and therefore we create a new way of expressing and we create 'a new life'. Physically we start with what we've got from the place we find ourselves in. Then we move on to find magic in life. This is the start of a new way, and we get to be the people we always thought we could be. We can be something independent of the roles socially engineered for us for years, and maybe we can be independent of those roles that we have assumed, and been dependent on, without question, for years....

Find your inner, shiney, New 'YOU', but you may need some discipline to look for it.

Be a disciple of yourself.
Discipline is not rules, regulations, or punishment. It is not compliance, obedience, or enforcement. It is not rigid, boring, or always doing the same thing.
Discipline is not something others do to you. It is something you do for yourself. You can receive instruction or guidance from one or many sources, but the source of discipline is not external. It is internal. Discipline is not obedience to someone else's standards to avoid punishment. It is learning and applying intentional standards to achieve meaningful objectives. Discipline is a choice . . . your choice. It is a decision. Better yet, all your decisions.

The word "discipline" is from the Latin word disciplina meaning "instruction and training". It's derived from the root word discere -- "to learn." So what is discipline? Discipline is to study, learn, train, and apply a system of standards.11 Jun 2019

How to harness the power of discipline to help you thrive

Discipline can be perceived as a dirty word, conjuring images of toil and labour as we strive towards impossible goals that we inevitably abandon. But discipline doesn’t need to be about deprivation and drudgery. It can become your ally, helping you to live your best life. The Dalai Lama suggests, “A disciplined mind leads to happiness, while an undisciplined mind leads to suffering.” Perhaps it’s time to become a disciple of discipline.

Redefining discipline

The word “discipline” has all sorts of connotations. You can instantly feel straitjacketed by a sense of strictness, regulation and restraint. Our lexicon for living well has changed in recent years and we now gravitate towards terms like “flow”, “acceptance” and “presence”, whereby we feel a sense of ease and calm.
The notions of discipline and flow are not mutually exclusive, though, and don’t need to be in opposition. Taking a disciplined approach to life can lead to a sense of true autonomy whereby you can create the space to relax and pursue what really matters in your life. In tandem, they can lead to a meaningful outcome.
Taking a disciplined approach to life can lead to a sense of true autonomy whereby you can create the space to relax and pursue what really matters in your life.
Discipline should not be seen as a denial of having fun but rather as saying yes to those things at the right time. There is nothing better than treating yourself after you have done something to earn it. Ironically, discipline is all about achieving balance and harmony, which are, philosophically speaking, modern tenets of life as we combat a chaotic world.
Moreover, discipline doesn’t have to be 24/7 but rather should be incorporated into daily life. In his most recent book, Discipline Equals Freedom: Field Manual, American author, podcaster and former Navy Seal Jocko Willink provides a salient example of how discipline is the pathway to liberation, despite this seemingly being counter-intuitive. He says, for instance, that sleeping-in appears to be a form of freedom as you are free to do nothing and once in a while it feels great just to laze away the morning (sometimes it’s even necessary).
However, the problem with sleeping-in, especially if it becomes the norm, is you don’t get anything done. Consequently, as Willink points out, jobs bank up, you end up playing panicky catch-up and even lose control, lamenting your lazy, opt-out approach. Ultimately, this attitude to life leads to stress. Discipline, on the other hand, can liberate your life.
We all know that feeling of self-recrimination when we’ve given in to laziness or allowed ourselves to be distracted by YouTube videos. You can feel quite down on yourself when you know you’ve avoided things that needed to be done or squandered time that could have been used more productively. You can make excuses that you’re relaxing but you know deep down this is not the case. Avoidance and procrastination can become chronic and even lead to more serious mental health issues.

Oh the Place's You'll Go - by Dr Seuss

Congratulations! Today is your day, you're off to great places!
Congratulations!
Today is your day.
You're off to Great Places!
You're off and away!
You have brains in your head.
You have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself any direction you choose.
You're on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the guy who'll decide where to go.
You'll look up and down streets. Look'em over with care. About some you will say, "I don't choose to go there." With your head full of brains and your shoes full of feet, you're too smart to go down a not-so-good street.
And you may not find any you'll want to go down. In that case, of course, you'll head straight out of town. It's opener there in the wide open air.
Out there things can happen and frequently do to people as brainy and footsy as you.
And when things start to happen, don't worry. Don't stew. Just go right along. You'll start happening too.
Oh! The Places You'll Go!
You'll be on your way up!
You'll be seeing great sights!
You'll join the high fliers who soar to high heights.
You won't lag behind, because you'll have the speed. You'll pass the whole gang and you'll soon take the lead. Wherever you fly, you'll be best of the best. Wherever you go, you will top all the rest.
Except when you don't.
Because, sometimes, you won't.

I'm sorry to say so but, sadly, it's true that Bang-ups and Hang-ups can happen to you.
You can get all hung up in a prickle-ly perch. And your gang will fly on. You'll be left in a Lurch.
You'll come down from the Lurch with an unpleasant bump. And the chances are, then, that you'll be in a Slump.
And when you're in a Slump, you're not in for much fun. Un-slumping yourself is not easily done.
You will come to a place where the streets are not marked. Some windows are lighted. But mostly they're darked. A place you could sprain both your elbow and chin! Do you dare to stay out? Do you dare to go in? How much can you lose? How much can you win?
And if you go in, should you turn left or right…or right-and-three-quarters? Or, maybe, not quite? Or go around back and sneak in from behind? Simple it's not, I'm afraid you will find, for a mind-maker-upper to make up his mind.
You can get so confused that you'll start in to race down long wiggled roads at a break-necking pace and grind on for miles across weirdish wild space, headed, I fear, toward a most useless place.
The Waiting Place…for people just waiting.
Waiting for a train to go or a bus to come, or a plane to go or the mail to come, or the rain to go or the phone to ring, or the snow to snow or waiting around for a Yes or No or waiting for their hair to grow. Everyone is just waiting.
Waiting for the fish to bite or waiting for wind to fly a kite or waiting around for Friday night or waiting, perhaps, for their Uncle Jake or a pot to boil, or a Better Break or a string of pearls, or a pair of pants or a wig with curls, or Another Chance. Everyone is just waiting.
No! That's not for you!
Somehow you'll escape all that waiting and staying. You'll find the bright places where Boom Bands are playing. With banner flip-flapping, once more you'll ride high! Ready for anything under the sky. Ready because you're that kind of a guy!
Oh, the places you'll go! There is fun to be done! There are points to be scored. There are games to be won. And the magical things you can do with that ball will make you the winning-est winner of all. Fame! You'll be famous as famous can be, with the whole wide world watching you win on TV.
Except when they don't. Because, sometimes, they won't.
I'm afraid that sometimes you'll play lonely games too. Games you can't win 'cause you'll play against you.
All Alone!
Whether you like it or not, Alone will be something you'll be quite a lot.
And when you're alone, there's a very good chance you'll meet things that scare you right out of your pants. There are some, down the road between hither and yon, that can scare you so much you won't want to go on.
But on you will go though the weather be foul. On you will go through your enemies prowl. On you will go though the Hakken-Kraks howl. Onward up many a frightening creek, though your arms may get sore and your sneakers may leak. On and on you will hike. And I know you'll hike far and face up to your problems whatever they are.
You'll get mixed up, of course, as you already know. You'll get mixed up with many strange birds as you go. So be sure when you step. Step with care and great tact and remember that Life's a Great Balancing Act. Just never forget to be dexterous and deft. And never mix up your right foot with your left.
And will you succeed?
Yes! You will, indeed!
(98 and ¾ percent guaranteed.)
Kid, you'll move mountains!
So…be your name Buxbaum or Bixby or Bray or Mordecai Ale Van Allen O'Shea, you're off to Great Places!
Today is your day!
Your mountain is waiting.
So…get on your way!
