I was talking with a friend yesterday concerning someone who has created great pain for her.
One thing was obvious, that this person has a void so great its presence was causing behaviour that were manipulative and hurtful to others.
Today I became aware of this void space in me. We all have one. Its actual location is hard to discern but its aching feeling has been 'read' by the ego, and the ego panics, desperately trying to fill it.
Anything that it is not understood will automatically be seen as harmful. That is because we have as humans become used to being aware of only the five senses, and anything and everything will HAVE TO be interpreted by those sensory receivers. Anything that is not adequately explained by those five senses will have to be rationalised and so pulled into to be labelled within those five senses.
We rush to fill the void because we cannot bare it. To us it is extremely uncomfortable. Over the years of human presence filling the void has been the motivation for creation.
What if we stopped with the automatic jump to fill the void. Instead of 'feeling' (with our five sense) the immensity of the void as being a threat, and Ego serves to 'create' so that we are distracted from the void inside, as it is filled continuously with stuff, serving to maintain an agenda of motivation.
What if we stopped the ego from its automatic panic filled creations, arising simply from feeling the void and acting to fill it.
It came to me as I was in my yellow room, I noticed that there was a 'whoosh' of feeling, through into a dark void. It caught me by surprise, and I felt the panic. And I felt the ache. But I knew I had the done the work and there was more to what I was Sensing. The void is a channel. It is indeed a channel space, so large it feels scary and I can see why the ego, sensing it's own smallness in comparison, feels panic and seeks to remove the 'threat' or 'disarm it'. The ego brings forward its own interpretations and insecurities.
What it the void is simply a channel to the spiritual wholeness, and its presence is to provide a continuous whoosh of consciousness from the spiritual into our physical. Its just that we have had the ego grow to become the guards at the door of the unknown, and all things from this whoosh are interpreted by the insecurities of the ego.
What if we stopped filling our voids with identities, roles and reasons, and let ourselves just tap into the channel of the stream of consciousness. What if we recognise the ACHE in the void is a sensation that we 'feel as' an ache, but is actually a drive a push for fuller realisation, the ache of motivation to create. The supreme force of our drive from the wholeness, from source energy.
Not an ache as such, but feels like an ache, as it brings such power through to us that we ignore. The great wholeness power aches as it channels through us, but is not recognised.
Michaela.
