The Third Ray : The Ray of Active Inteligence

Planets: Earth, Saturn

Concept: Mental illumination, the power to produce, synthesis on the physical place, the blending of will/power and love/wisdom to produce the forms of life.

Soul Level: The birthing of ideas to benefit humanity, the structuring of time and activities to allow for group energies to flourish, inherent, objective intelligence ready to be used in service to humanity in all ways

The energy of the Third Ray permeates into every form of life.  The Third is the Active Intelligence of Divinity and represents the inherent intelligent within all matter.

The energy of the Third Ray is synthesising in nature.  It works to effectuate the Plan of Creation by blending the energies of Rays One and Two, bringing them into objectivity through intelligence and the mind. the Third Ray extends the matrix of the Second Ray into those channels of activity which result in the infinite forms of life.  As we shall see with the Four Rays of Attribute (Four through Seven) , all are emanations of this great Ray.

Unlike the other Rays, the Third, we are told, is naturally conditioned into the brain matter and is a will energy by stimulation. It energises the mental processes and is the Ray that brings forth the Holy spirit. Here we have the magical will that urges man on to more rapid progress through the revolutionary process by way of adaptability. It is a tactful energy. With the Third Ray one is willing to be what one is through what life can offer in the way of experience. The man highly affected by active intelligence is flexible in his goal setting and is manipulative and communicative as well.

Under the focusing of the Third we find a path for the disciple who accepts what is, regardless. Here we have the drive toward education and progress for evolutionary reasons; also a drive for knowledge and a willingness to believe without tangible proof. As a part of a self serving adaptability, symbology is absorbed and sorted. Everything experienced leads to accumulated wisdom. Incentive for growth is at the core of active intelligence. Many mental pursuits, ESP included, are stimulated under this ray. Incentive stimulus being the main keywords and clearer now for our comprehension are incentive {positive response} and excitement {negative response}. When incentive is activated, a reasonable goal is actively stimulated, all the working of intelligence are set into motion.

Dealing with outer conditions is dominant under the Third Ray. Both the planet Mercury and the Third Ray are associated with adaptability. Mercury gives an inclination toward the outer world, but the Third Ray provides the will for it. It is easy to understand why the Rays must be interpreted before the horoscope. The Third Ray bestows a striving to identify with self, and through doing so one obtains the release of total consciousness. Thus the Higher self follows the release and becomes willingly creative. Harnessing this will energy for constructive use is accomplished largely by focusing it through the testing sign of Scorpio and through Capricorn of crises, which provides the soul with initiation. It is natural that the Third Ray is the will to incentive, and its release comes through eventual wisdom. Bear in mind when dealing with the Third Ray that incentive stimulus and the need for release are embraced as one.

Under the Third Ray of the thinker, life and thought are synonymous. Understanding abounds, as to fundamental principles of life; this is a chord of abstract intelligence, of limitless creation ideation. Through great capacity as a tactician one is able to deal with the various principles of life, so fertile is his comprehension. A man born prepared is the archetype of the Third Ray. To him Truth is God, and God is Truth. Here we have a provoker of men. He sends those less learned into avenues of which they thought themselves incapable and this he accomplishes by encouraging them to work individually, on their own so to speak. The Third Ray is the ray of the philosopher, the astrologer and the intermediary. We get a good idea of the fertile potential ideation, for it is the energy attracting the secrets of the Holy spirit. The ability to concentrate is enormous. The Third-ray man will withdraw into himself to nourish the thoughts he is confident he will find there awaiting his creative release.

The cardinal signs of Cancer, Libra and Capricorn are the designated triad of the Third Ray of Active Intelligence. Saturn is the sacred planet. The Venetian Chohan presides over its affairs. It is the will to be intelligent and a radiant outpouring for creative and constructive use.  The Third Ray is the Ray of the Animal Kingdom.Being a ray for perfect timing, the Third Ray is the creative force of the astrologer who interprets the intangible and abstract sides of life, for he comes to know the nature of magnetic forces.

Eventually, through the opportunities Saturn gives us, we have balanced a great deal of past karma and have reached a place where conscious choices becomes an actual possibility. At this point the choices we have to make for our evolutionary advancement become clear to our wakening eyes. We know that if we accept the work and service in front of us, we shall be tested. Yet our vision encourages us to shoulder some of the collective burden for advancing humanity and the expression of Love/Wisdom in the world. Saturn’s house position will reveal where our dharma/duty lies in this respect and where we may expect tests of restriction and self discipline to arise.

Planet of the Third Ray

Saturn is representative of the Law of Economy on all levels of the personality. It is not an agent of deprivation, as much as it is a testing ground to prove a person’s level of maturity and responsibility in dealing with what he has learned or achieved. We can say that the relationship with Saturn and the Sun has a great deal to do with physical vitality, and thus we see the application of the Law of Economy to the physical level. When we examine Saturn in relationship to the Moon, this Law extends itself into the emotional area of the personality life. The relationship of Saturn to Mercury conditions the extent of the lower mental aspect of the lower self.

Saturn, is the Lord of Karma. He stands at the Gates of Initiation ready to put all who approach to the test. (much as the symbol of St Peter acting as the Guardian at the Gates of Heaven in terms of the Christian philosophy).

From an astronomical point of perspective, Saturn is the furthest planet visible from the Earth with the naked eye. And its planetary rings are its most impressive feature. The rings are, of course, symbolic of the Laws of Karma. The position Saturn holds in space is indicative of the fact that a person cannot incorporate the energies of the furthest planets - Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto, into his individualised consciousness without first passing the various tests of personal responsibility so that he proves himself capable of handling the energies of a more evolved state. We can note this particular ~guardianship of consciousness~ in Saturn’s rulership over the throat chakra. In order to awaken the potentials of the two highest vital centres, located at the brow and the crown, an individual first has to stimulate personal awareness from the level of the throat.

Another term for Saturn is ~Dweller on the Threshold~. This is another of Saturn’s many titles, duties and responsibilities in the unfolding of the Path. As such, Saturn represents the crystalisation of the past, so that ~debts~ may be paid and one may undertake present opportunities for the future.

~Opportunity~ is one of the most descriptive words that can be applied to Saturn, as he offers those crises and life situations that bestow conscious freedom of choice. It is through our restrictions, and the pain which often accompanies thwarted desires or aspirations, that we come to a greater comprehension of the Laws of Manifestation. The structure and administration of these Laws are also under the rulership of Saturn.

Eventually, through the opportunities Saturn gives us, we have balanced a great deal of past karma and have reached a place where conscious choices becomes an actual possibility. Once these tests are taken and passed - once the Path of Discipleship has been achieved - the very advanced individual passes onto the Cardinal Cross where, it is said, ~Saturn cannot follow men~ Once human consciousness has reached this initiate state, the Laws of human Karma have been learned and incorporated into oneself and the ~gate~ which Saturn guards and protects has swung open.

Saturn and the Earth are very closely related, due to their dual connection with the Third Ray. Saturn controls the creation of structural patterns for mental energy. The rewards and punishments we receive are especially true relative to the way we handle the Earth’s resources and the energies of the lesser kingdoms: mineral, vegetable and animal. The synthesis of these three other kingdoms has once more to do with our administration of the Law of Right Human Relations.

Saturn, as ruler of Capricorn is directly related to the process of Initiation. But Saturn on the exoteric level is also the co-ruler of Aquarius. It will be through the correct application of the Laws and Principles of the New Age, so very much influenced by this planetary ~Gatekeeper~, that we shall be able to co-create and fulfil our individual karma relative to humanity’s collective life in the Aquarian Era.

The position of Saturn in the signs is particularly indicative of several major characteristics.

1. The sign will point to which Ray qualities may be inhibited on the personality level, so that such energies are brought into much more objective manifestation by the individual.

2. Such tests and crises will be reflected by the forms of such restrictions in the personal life, that Is, some will be affected financiallys, others romantically, others physically, etc.

3. The sign position also reveals what the Soul is seeking to perfect in the present incarnation, in order to foster its own growth and aid in the externalization of the Plan for humanity.

4. The combination of sign and house placement will point to the urge for the fulfillment of a specific type of karma, and the kinds of circumstances which will bring about the necessary testing in one’s life.

5. It must be clearly understood that these tests and trials are invoked through the Soul-centred individual’s conscious choice. This is part of living on the Fixed Cross and indicative of one who is assuming the responsibility for co-creating the structure of his spiritual life and material destiny. The right use of the mind, and the tests of polarisation of the emotions and the personal life to the mental plane and the impersonal life, will be definitely encountered along the Way. both humanity and the planet upon which we live. The latest guidance from the Ascended Masters, Galactics, Earth Elementals, Faery Elders, Angels, and Archangels known as the Collective:

Greetings, friends! We are very pleased to have this time to speak with you again.

Our writer has asked us to address the issue of sexual assault as it is being discussed now on television and all other forms of media.

For many, this is a time of revolution—a time of freedom from the shame, low self-worth, sadness, and feelings of loss they have experienced since being attacked, or abused in an ongoing way.

We do not speak of this awakening of women’s (and some men’s) voices in an attempt to create further division between individuals, within families, or within social groups, such as some are using it to create.

That is not what this moment is about.

When we see the #MeToo movement and the bravery of those who identify as survivors (not victims), we see a reflection of the growing presence of the Divine Feminine upon the Earth.

At its heart, this is not a female vs. male nor even a survivor vs. predator movement.

In the bigger sense, it is an expression of the recognition in women and girls of their inner Divinity, their sacred individualism, the strength and wisdom of their voices, and the need for their equal participation in all matters of life in this new era of the Sat Yuga.

It is also an sign of the end of the old male power structure, and the presumption on the part of males in nearly every culture that their presence, ideas, and opinions matter more that than of others—and that their word carries far more weight than that of women or young people.

It has been particularly hard for white males, born into various levels of the eons-old patriarchal power structure, to develop certain aspects of their personal and soul growth—their Divinity—under a system that says, “Whatever you do is all right. Do as you please, and protect your brothers as they do as they please, by shoring up the system that ensures your immunity from being questioned, or made to answer for your actions.”

Certainly, this has not been the case in every instance.

Some males have been made to face justice and to answer for the crimes and other injustices they have waged against others, including situation in which they abused their power or influence in the home, workplace, or government.

But in this era into which you have emerged, the prevailing (and fast-increasing) energies of higher Light on the planet have created an environment in which exploitation, injustices, and inequalities of all kinds will no longer be tolerated by the masses as “status quo.”

It is disturbing to many to see the old order crumbling.

And yet, know that each of you in her or his own way has come here to contribute not merely to the end of the old era, but to the establishing and anchoring of the new one.

We see that many are feeling triggered by the descriptions of assault, and environments of intimidation and harassment, from those coming forward to speak publicly of their experiences, to stop predators from continuing their crimes.

This can be a difficult moment for many, as they relive their own painful situations.

Healing from any form of sexual abuse can take time in your world, as the subconscious contains so many layers of thought and feeling, and the etheric body, invaded by the presence of the perpetrator, retains those energies until they are washed clean from the survivor’s energy field by way of energy clearings.

Nearly every female in your world has, in one Earth life or another, carried the heavy weight of having been abused, and for many, it has occurred to varying degrees in multiple Earth lives.

Thankfully, there are energy clearing audio recordings and videos available online (some them offered for free), and energy practitioners who work with abuse survivors, so that the survivor does not have to continue to carry the weight of their experience or the perpetrator’s energies.

Please know that you are never alone in your journey.

Your Spirit team of guides, Angels, and higher self are with you at every moment, ready to download you with healing, wisdom, compassion, and guidance.

This issue is rising again for you now, because it is demanding to be healed more fully.

And because in the rising energies you are experiencing, your own vibration is rising to where it can no longer carry the density of these experiences, locked into cells, etheric body, and heart-mind.

Healing need not take a great deal of time, or years in therapy, though many find it a great help to learn the skills needed to create clear boundaries and to regain a sense of self as they deal with the memories of an attack or abuse situation.

Many also turn to methods such as Emotional Freedom Technique (tapping), body work, Reiki,  and other forms of healing the subconscious, emotions, and body.

Whether the situation occurred a few days or ago or many years ago, the mind and heart will have recorded it at a depth and with a detail that requires an in-depth clearing and healing, until the survivor’s sense of self is built up to where they no longer blame themselves or carry the energetic intention of the abuse, and no longer feel trapped in the energies and intention of the one who abused them.

Acquiring natural boundaries—physical, emotional, and etheric ones—requires a sense of self that most female children are kept well away from as they are growing up, lest they develop the inner strength required to stand up for their lives and that of others, and use their voice to resist the socialization and programming of the male power structure.

Hence, your media is full of narrowly defined, impossible-to-reach images of beauty, with assurances to young girls and women in particular, that they are not acceptable as people without their achieving at least part of the “beauty ideal.”

Likewise, film and television (and music video) constantly show women being abused or dismissed as irrelevant outside of displays of their attractiveness, and usually placed secondary in presence, voice, and importance to strong male characters.

(The lead female actor of your show X Files, for example, has said that the first four or five scripts for the series always had her character walking several steps behind her FBI partner. After a few episodes, she always ensured that she and her partner walked parallel to one another.)

You have seen tremendous changes in this kind of programming (social and otherwise) over the past 50 years, as the energies upon the Earth have required that women recognize and honor their humanity and their intrinsic equality with men, not only in terms of their ability to contribute to society, but in terms of the basic importance of their mere presence and existence.

This last frontier—speaking out against sexual abuse, judgment and intimidation—and refusing to allow it to protect itself behind a wall of assumed privilege—is one of the most important shifts.

It speaks clearly of the humanity and Divinity of all women in all circumstances.

In addition to supporting young girls in developing a strong sense of self, purpose, self-worth, and perfection, it is also working to assist young boys to grow up respecting, claiming, and honoring their Feminine aspect.

This rebalancing has been one of the greatest missing ingredients in your world.

You are here to see firsthand the revolution from within that is shaking your world at its foundations, in ways undreamt of before this time, except by a few visionaries, to whom we all owe a great deal.

And so we honor and celebrate the Divine Feminine with you, as it moves through your Earth, encouraging all on the planet to honor all of life, to bless and nurture all heart-based expressions of humanity!

And as it offers a demonstration of the Creator Goddess, who in all things honors, loves, and blesses you, and in this time of great and unprecedented rebalancing, calls upon Earth’s people to honor Her.
